In the beginning ...

my scale is begging me not to step on his head cause the thought of my big ass walking his way gives him a headache. =D I'm too determined to let his negative attitude keep me from losing this weight.

Today's weigh in ... I'm embarrassed to say it ... 197.5. As you can see I have 47 pounds left to go to reach my 150 pound goal. I'm going to do it.

In this journal you will see what I'm eating ... probably by a chart. You'll read what kind of exercise program I'm doing each day along with the link to buy the video that I have chosen to do. I collect workout videos & have over a 100 to chose from.

So on to today's food choices;

Exercise ... well that for the time being is being placed on hold due to some back pain that started last week. It's slowly getting better so I should be able to be working out by next Monday ... until then I plan to really watch what I eat.

Some of you may be wondering, is this a diet plan that she is on? The answer is YES!!! I wouldn't be me if I weren't on some type of diet plan. I'm trying the RAW FOOD diet. This week I'm starting out with 50% raw foods. Click the link above if you'd like to know more about this diet.

  1. Emmi girl.  I am so happy we all are getting serious about losing weight.  What a wake up call we all seemed to have *together*.  Good luck and know I am right here with you kicking and screaming....lol.  

    BTW have you tried Juicing??  I love carrot juice.  It is my favorite.  I only use organic carrots.  It is soo yummy!

    The name of this journal gave me a laugh thanks for that b/c so needed it after I realized my scale is saying the same thing. To make things even worse when I went to weigh this a.m. there was a little geciko under it and when it got moved I killed him! So now not only am I fat you can add murder to my list of sins.
    Keep up the good work and hope your back get better soon.

  6. Glad I found you here at the beginning of this journal. I really need to loose about 40-50lbs myself in order to be healthier and make myself happier. I will look more at the diet you have chosen. Good luck.

  7. I CAN SEE THIS IS GOING TO BE A REALLY GOOD J. IF YOU STICK WITH THIS PLAN, I DON'T SEE HOW YOU WILL NOT LOOSE WEIGHT.I'VE READ EVERY HEALTH BOOK YOU CAN IMAGINE & EAT ACCORDINGLY. WORKS FOR ME. YOUR HUMOR IN ALL THIS IS JUST SO GREAT. LOVE IT
