Headache City

I woke up with a bad headache this morning ... it's 10:30 & I'm still sitting here in my PJ's. I just can't seemt o get myself moving. I think I'm coming down with a cold cause my eyes are watery & my nose is either running or stopped up. Just what I need ... a damned cold! Cold or not I have got to get my exercise in cause tomorrow is weigh in day & I want to see a loss. I haven't weighed myself since Monday morning ... it was the first time in a very long time that I didn't see the scale go up. Probably since I ate very sensibly over the weekend. No take out. Now that's a BIG accomplishment for this house. We set out saying we would only have take out once a month & so far ... we have stuck with it. We went out one night while the kids were over at their friends house. I couldn't even eat all of my food.

Ok ... so this is my food for the day: good, bad, or not bad but you could work on___. Let me know. I need allt he help I can get & I'm convinced the key to losing weight is nothing more than eating healthy & getting in cardio. I don't want pills, high protien/low carb diets, I don't want to starve a week to see a loss of 2 pounds. I want real weight loss without schemes of taking it off fast. Fast weight loss has only meant faster weight gain in the past ... NO MORE!!!!

Not feeling very well today, having a very hard time breathing. Don't know if I want to workout but know that I need to if I want to see the scale continue to come down. I'm thinking a 4 mile walk then finish it off with pilates.


  1. Awwwwwww honey you still have that headache ? Drink two glasses of Gatorade and it will go away, I sure hope you feel better, Love and Hugs Lisa

  2. Honey I hope you get to feeling better soon, I know how miserable those headaches can be did you try the hot / cold rags I told you about .

  3. Woo Hoo... no complaints about the menu.  You did great!!  Hope you get better soon.  Sucks being sick, but stay strong and stay focused.
